Privacy Policy

PAPA Tech Solutions (“we”) operates the StareVerse Android app and this website. The app’s package name is aexyn.stereogramviewer. This notice says what information the app and this website use, why, who receives it, and how you can ask us about it.
We do not ask you to create an account. We do not ask for your name, email address, phone number, date of birth, location, contacts, camera, or microphone. We do not sell personal data.
1. Information that stays on your phone
These items are stored on the device. We do not receive them.
- Progress and settings. Coins, quiz scores, streaks, the notification choice, the analytics switch, the personalized-ads switch, and purchase flags such as removed ads.
- Downloaded pictures. Gallery stereograms, quiz pictures, and generator shapes you open are saved in the app’s private storage. They are not uploaded.
- A photo, drawing, or text you add. The generator uses it on the phone to make a stereogram. We do not receive that photo, drawing, or text.
- A picture you save. Android writes a JPEG to a Pictures folder named SterogramFun. Share uses a temporary file and the Android share sheet.
2. Information sent from the app
The app sends information only to Google services we use: Firebase and Google Play. We do not run our own user database.
- Anonymous sign-in. When a download starts, the app can sign in with Firebase Anonymous Authentication. That is an anonymous id. It is not your name, email, or a profile. The app does not show you this id.
- File download. The app downloads gallery images, quiz pictures, and generator shapes and patterns from Firebase Storage.
- Analytics, in release builds. Firebase Analytics is on until you turn it off. It can record screens, quiz play, coins, ads, purchases, shares, and generator actions. Each launch reads the Settings switch before collection is turned on. Debug builds do not send analytics. Our code does not set an analytics user id.
- Crash reports, in release builds. Firebase Crashlytics sends a crash report, including the app version and the device details Crashlytics attaches to a crash. Debug builds do not send crash reports.
- Ads. Google AdMob shows banner ads, rewarded ads, and interstitial ads. AdMob can use device identifiers, including the advertising ID, as described in Google’s privacy policy. Personalized Ads is on until you turn it off. When it is off, each ad request asks for a non-personalized ad. Remove Ads is a one-time Google Play purchase that stops ads in the app. The app does not show a separate ads consent form.
- Purchases. Coin packs, generator unlocks, and Remove Ads are one-time Google Play products. Google keeps the purchase. We do not receive your card number. The app stores the unlock on the device. Restore Purchases reads the purchase back from Google Play.
- Updates. The app asks Google Play if a newer version is available.
3. Reminders
Reminders are off until you turn them on and allow notifications. They are scheduled on the phone, at the phone’s local time:
- Daily bonus at 9:00
- Daily Challenge at 18:00
- A reminder 1 day, 3 days, and 7 days after you last opened the app
We do not send cloud push messages. The Firebase Cloud Messaging library is included with the Firebase tools, and its automatic start is turned off, so the app does not register a push token for these reminders.
4. This website
These pages are static files. The site does not create an account, set a cookie, or run analytics. The Nunito font is served from this same site. If you email us, we receive the address you write from and the message you send.
5. Why we use information
- To download stereograms you open and to keep progress on the device
- To fix crashes
- To show ads, unless you have removed them, and to measure use of the app when analytics is on
- To complete a Google Play purchase you start, and to restore it later
- To answer email you send to support
Where a privacy law requires a reason for each use: providing the app, and a purchase you start, is necessary for that service. Analytics and advertising are separate. You can turn analytics off, turn personalized ads off, or buy Remove Ads. The app does not show a consent form before those start.
Quiz scores and coin balances are game progress on the device. The app does not make a decision that has a legal effect on you, or a similarly significant effect.
6. Children
The app does not ask your age. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal data about a child. If you are a parent and believe your child has sent us personal data, email support@papatechsolutions.com. We will delete what we can identify from that request.
7. How long it is kept
- Data on the phone remains until you uninstall the app or clear its storage.
- The anonymous sign-in, analytics, crash reports, and ad data are kept by Google as part of Firebase and AdMob. This app does not set its own retention period for that data.
- A Play purchase remains in your Google account until you manage it in Google Play.
- Email you send us is kept long enough to handle the request and any follow-up.
8. Your choices and requests
In the app:
- Analytics Tracking in Settings turns Firebase Analytics off. The next launch applies that choice before collection starts.
- Personalized Ads in Settings, when off, asks AdMob for non-personalized ads. Remove Ads stops ads in the app.
- Notifications in Settings, or the Android notification permission, turns reminders off.
- Settings and the home screen open this policy. Settings also has “Request data deletion,” which opens an email to us.
You can email support@papatechsolutions.com to ask for access to personal data we can identify, a correction, deletion, a limit on use, or a copy of what we hold. Say what you want and include enough detail for us to find it. The anonymous Firebase id is not shown in the app, so tell us the approximate dates you used StareVerse.
We will reply to that email. We can delete an anonymous Firebase session and related data we can match. We cannot delete a Google Play purchase, an advertising ID held by Google, or files that exist only on your phone. Uninstall the app or clear its storage to remove what is on the phone. Manage a purchase in Google Play. Restore Purchases can bring a purchase back after you reinstall.
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you can also complain to the data protection authority where you live. If you are in India, you can use the same email for a grievance, including a request for access, correction, erasure, or to nominate someone to act for you. You may also contact the Data Protection Board of India.
9. Who else receives information
We do not sell personal data, and we do not give it to data brokers. Google receives the information in section 2 because the app uses these services:
- Firebase privacy information — Anonymous Authentication, Storage, Analytics, and Crashlytics
- Google privacy policy — AdMob, Google Play Billing, and Play updates
- How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services
Google may process that information in the United States and in other countries where Google operates. Google describes those transfers in its privacy policy.
Image sources and the Nunito font license are on the image credits page. Those credits are not personal data about you.
10. Security
Connections to Firebase and Google use encrypted transport. Pictures and settings in the app’s private storage are not readable by other apps. A JPEG you save into Pictures is a normal file on the phone. No method of storage or transmission is guaranteed against every risk.
11. Changes
We post changes on this page and update the date above.
